Here's the story of a 21 year old math major who took the decision to head off to Libya for a little adventure, before heading back to school. He's embedded with the rebels and joining in the fight, despite not speaking Arabic or knowing how to use an AK. If he survives he'll have a hell of a story to tell his buddies and a great "What did you do this summer?" assignment.

I always wonder how one would go about even getting involved in this. Did he walk up to the group of rebels he hitched a ride with and say "hey can I borrow a rifle so I can join you dudes?"
