Well I moved a gun safe this weekend with a buddy of mine. I think I am officially too old to ever do that again. Next time around, professional movers it will be.

Had two moved a few years ago, $400
Only thing that bothered me was how easy they made it look

It would be Lighter / easier to move if you gave some of the Guns to Friends

Everyone says that about safe movers. Just to make sure I got my money's worth, I took my guns out and then loaded mine with ceramic tile that needed to go down to the basement to be installed in a bathroom down there..

When they asked me if there were any guns inside the safe I told them NO. Honest answer.

Got my money's worth out of the move.

Talk about a cluster in the making. Have to wonder what the detour route will be and how to avoid the traffic.

I got both safes into my house by myself. The 24 gun weighs less than my motorcycle. I strapped that to a dolly and it was easy peasy from there. The Cannon 64 gun is 40Wx60Hx24D and around 650lb and that was a pain in the ass esp. when you consider one arm is [optimistically] working at half the strength of the other. If I ever move out, I'm hiring someone for that damn thing.

Saw this on the book. I have to drive to the airport on Monday, not looking forward to that one. Hopefully its finished by my next trip out in Oct.
