Weird question: were you in northern Hamilton county when you took these? I swear it looks like the same house and treeline in my photos and there were a couple other cars in the area with us.

What time should be the best time to see anything in Indy? I'm guessing the light pollution will block it but maybe a camera might pick it up still?

My faraday is free range. I don't believe in caging them up. And putting them on a tie-out is just downright cruel.

I forgot how many solar motion lights I have around here, damn, just went outside to see if I could see anything and every step I took, another light would pop on.

There is a red hue that I can see in the sky, but my phone shows a better story.

Seemed like a short show tonight, I saw some purple hues right after sunset and now just black.
Wasn’t sure if I’d see anything from the tractor window but I seemed to.
I’m gonna be out here a while so if I see anything I’ll hit this thread up.

Didn't see anything here, but didn't figure I would with the street lights

If you paid attention for a few minutes, you got to see the ISS cross over.

So it wasnt a TOTAL loss.

Went from 13% probability around 10:30 down to 0 at 11:40. Nice clear night, too.

Lol, is it a Deere?! Yeah, flat-land woodlots do look similar. With the cloud structure and aurora patterns, it looks like you took some of the same pictures that are in my camera roll. Probably be a different story in daylight.

I saw a big shooting star about 2:30. Other than that just a beautiful black ink night.
Anybody know how to tell the difference between the ISS and a regular satellite, besides knowing the trajectory of the ISS?
