the only problem with the 223 is the incorrect advertised velocity. they say it is 3240 fps. averaged 2820 in my ruger bolt action.I've also shot some of the 9mm and 223 flavors and both are quite good.

Wow, that is a big discrepancy! I didn't chrono it but it does seem to be little on the lighter side but I shoot more for accuracy anyway.the only problem with the 223 is the incorrect advertised velocity. they say it is 3240 fps. averaged 2820 in my ruger bolt action.
They probably used a 24" barrel to get their velocity which is standard in most of the advertised velocity.the only problem with the 223 is the incorrect advertised velocity. they say it is 3240 fps. averaged 2820 in my ruger bolt action.
16&1/2". but I tested it along with some federal xm193 5.56 and it was 3150 as expected. They probably used a 24" barrel to get their velocity which is standard in most of the advertised velocity.
How long of barrel was on your rifle?

Maybe because I used a bolt action without a gas port?Notice the velocity of the 16" in the video is about 100fps lower than what you are getting with XM193.
Well get it posted I'd like to see how good and consistent Norma is across multiple firearms.I think I've already posted norma tac .22 results...
Edit: Well, I do have tac .22, just haven't performed tests yet.
I haven't forgotten!Well get it posted I'd like to see how good and consistent Norma is across multiple firearms.
I tried CCI Stingers in my 10/22 at 50yd it was actually the worst for accuracy. IIRC it was over 2" 10 shot group. I've also tried CCI hyper velocity segmented rounds they were about the same accuracy wise.I bought a couple boxes of the eco-speed 22lr to try out.
22gr moving at 1700fps.
Don't know when I'll get to try it though
It will probably be awhile (months) before I can test this at 50 and 100 yards like I want to. I might try a mag of it at my indoor range just to see initially what it'll do at 20 yards and just because I can...lolI tried CCI Stingers in my 10/22 at 50yd it was actually the worst for accuracy. So I'm anxious to see if Norma has developed a more accurate hyper velocity round.
Same in mine and in my Bergara B-14R.Norma TAC-22 is very accurate in my CZ-452
If you ever decide to sell your brass let me know.as i don't reload for 7.62x39 i have bought about 2500 rounds of there brass cased and it shoots well for me in my ak, saving brass so i can reload it when needed
