Newest knife

Here's a knife I finished today. Its blade was cut from a saw mill circular saw blade that is a little over 1/8" thick, the grip scales are curly maple and the pins are steel. I am going to make another one with black micarta grips scales to use as my new EDDK (every day dog knife ).OAL is about 8.5" and the blade is about 4.5". The handle isn't near as boxy as it looks.

Thanks for the kind words. I cant wait to get started on mine just gotta fix the angle grinder so I can cut out the blank to be annealed. The blade is a lot darker in person when I took it out of the oven from tempering I wire wheeled it with a stiff wheel and that is it. I prefer a darker less shiny blade.

I really like the choice of the curly maple handle. Love the look of a natural wood on a knife.
