    Why shorten the barrel for less accuracy while keeping the grip full size? Doesn't seem to do much for concealment

    But, it does look good.

    My thought is that this is the replacement for the 4" "Service" model not the "Sub-Compact".

    I think that if we're patient then there will be a "SC" soon.

    The 4.5" barrel of the XDm is too long for me for appendix carry (the way I carry). The 4" XD is a hair too long, but I make due. I can't say whether 3.8" will make a difference.

    Wow, another pointless product. I look forward to when manufacturers start making useful guns again instead of waisting time developing things like this!

    So you are saying it is useless as in doesn't go boom? Don't you see they simply shortened the slide length and used the same lower?

    Please add some clarification.

    The weapon suits me just fine as I have larger hands.
