Just found this the other day. Tactical Innovations has come out with a awesome looking receiver for the tried and true 10/22. It features a AR15 style charging handle! At $165 I think I may have to build another 10/22!

Hate to say it but I think the cartoon strikes a bigger chord with me than the charging handle! That is too funny.

BUT....that is super cool I just have to stop with my 10/22 issue at some point.

Does this go on the factory stock or aftermarket? I'm getting my first 10/22 today and I've been looking around for an AR esque aftermarket kit. Something along the lines of ArchAngel.

Tactical Innovations says that the receiver is "precision machined to exacting tolerances" so it will fit any stock out there. Except that one....

I think I'm going to try to keep as much of the gun stock as I can. I have a friend with a 10/22 who put some volquartsen parts on it like a new extractor and it hasnt had any problems feeding cheap federals

I would be more worried about Remington than Federal as their Chinese Quality Control needs addressed.

Now that the thread jacking is over...

:rockwoot: Receiver.... I am going to get one in the March/April Indy 1500!

I think I'll stick with my cheapa** 10/22 compact in its cheapa** TAPCO stock until I finally learn how to shoot.
