New Thompson Center Strike - Released Today

I was wondering if anyone has seen the new TC strike muzzleloader that was released today. Saw it on facebook and went to Thompson/Center

I don't think they did a very good job with the looks of the rifle. Appears to resemble a O/U bird gun. Interesting idea for the breech plug but I don't like having to keep track of two pieces when I remove to clean.

I dunno, I just ordered a Triumph and glad I did. I guess the gun is ok, just doesn't scream deer hunting to me.

It's just a rebranded Redemption, which they've made for a couple years now. Agreed, it looks a tad fugly but the designs are pretty clever with the breech plus itself not having any threads to it

Interesting, good find on the LHR info. I watched the YouTube vids in the link above. Thing looks like it kicks like a mule.

As for the T/C it is ugly but the camo stock version is a possibility

I'll stick with my knight mountaineer. I got burned on a tc triumph, kinda lost my faith in tc.

I'm a long time Thompson fan but that thing is ugly just looks cheap, Bet they don't sell many.

I bet they just bought them to use their striker fire technology and add it to the existing Triumph and other models to keep up with Traditions. I bet you see a 2016 Striker Fired Bone Collector Triumph come out sometime.
