Picked this baby up last week and went to the range a couple days ago to put some rounds through it. I got it to replace my CM9. I really liked my CM9 but i wanted something with a trigger that was more comparable to my glock. The reset on the Kahr was just way too long for me. I was between this and a shield and the trigger on this won me over. It's an awesome little gun and shooter. Put about 250 rounds through it with no problems. Also made an AIWB holster for it. Full sweat shield and adjustable retention.

That's some good lookin' work if you made that holster yourself. I've been looking to possibly purchase one to give my mtac a break. I'd be more committed to appendix if I didn't worry about my boys, or an artery or two.

Is that .8 kydex? Would you possibly make one for a Glock 19?

It's .06. I use .06 for all my IWB's unless im doing something with a weapon light then I'll use .08 so the kydex doesn't collapse as much and reholstering is easier. And yeah I could do a Glock 19 .

Nice pistol OP. Also, when I first saw your pictures, I thought you had bought that holster. It looked manufactured by Blade Tech or something. You do nice work.

Agreed, that's a great looking setup, and definitely nice work on the holster! I've shot the XDs in 9mm, and was amazed at what a soft shooter it was.

    I agree on all points.:D

I've been thinking about trying something with snaps for mine. Seems like
it would definitely be faster, and more simple removal when changing clothes etc.

    Yup!

I'm baby sitting one of these for a few years - I need to go shoot it to see what all the fuss is about!

I have the 3.3 and the new 4.0 9mm XDs They shoot and handle very well. The 3.3 loves CCI Al Blaser 115 fmj, of course. handles
HP fine also. Will have to try Horn CD/CD hear they may not feed?

Im not sure. I was shooting PMC and Fiochi 115gr FMJs, I didn't have any HPs to run through it.

Decided to manke an IWB mag carrier to go with it. I've never tried carrying a mag IWB before but it works pretty well around 11 oclock opposite the gun.

I got it at MC Sports in Bloomington. It was 549.99. I did zero shopping around and probably paid more than I should have but it was there and I wanted it haha.

I'm looking to trade my CM9 for something else as well, and have been thinking of this exact model. It's hard to part with that gun though.
