I've been reading the forums for a couple of years - finally decided to break the ice and join in.

    I appreciate what INGO provides.

I'm pretty new to guns and gun culture.

Last year I took the NRA basic class and will probably take it again this summer to keep my wife company when she takes it. Then I'll take another handgun class this summer (the next step up in handgun class, whatever that is).

    Lol, just have .22s so far - a Walther P-22 and a Ruger 10/22.

My thinking is that I hope to develop good habits with the .22 before I move up in caliber. Last fall I went shooting with my son and mostly shot my .22s. After a while I shot my son's .40, about 10-20 rounds, and when I went back to shoot my Walther I noticed that I had already picked up a flinch. Bad habits come so easily.
