New Mossberg 500!

I got a Mossberg 500 Cruiser and a Hogue synthetic stock set from US Defense Solutions today. Chad and Mike are great guys. They were pretty busy today, ammo was flying off their shelves. Thanks guys! Been looking for a good 12 gauge for a long time.

I will get pics up tomorrow when I can use my dad's iPhone to upload them and get a new stock bolt for my Hogue stock. The pistol grip bolt is too short, but a $.50 bolt from Lowe's will get the job done.

Shot the shotgun some last weekend. Pretty nice gun. Chad and Mike have been giving me advice on how to use it properly.

I am a big fan of the Mossberg 500. My gun is 30yrs. old and I put 100 rounds thru it today, most of them taking a clay pigeon with them. Because they don't cost $500+ - some will regard them as a cheap gun. Make no mistake, this is a solid workhorse of a firearm - accurate and reliable. Inexpensive compared to others, yes. Cheap, no way!

Congrats on buying an excellent, US-made firearm.

Mine came with the factory heatshield instead of the breacher. Nice shotgun!

Nice shotgun dude! I have to ask though, what stock are you using and does having the pistol grip stock there make it difficult to work the safety?

I just ordered a heat shield for 20. No issues with working the safety and having buttstock makes it much more comfortable to shoot now if I need to target shoot
