New Magpul color! See inside!

I call it Slap yo momma brown! Ha! Ok, ok it's not a real magpul color, I decided to dye one of my FDE Ar15s to a dark brown color. It turned out pretty darn good if I say so myself! Boom!

It's dark brown RIT dye from Walmart!

Reminds me of my High school car. - Poop brown Mercury Capri with a 4 cylinder Pinto engine. - I loved that car.

I do not have exact instructions, but it i took a pot of water large, enough to put everything you are going to be dying. I brought the water to almost a boil, added the RIT Dark Brown dye from walmart (I did about half of the bottle but I used a large pot. It looks black but do not be alarmed. Remove it from the heat, drop whatever your dying into it for to 4 minutes. remove and dry.

I always test the color with a cover plate from a mag first before I dye anything to make sure its the color I want. If its to dark take it out earlier. if its to light leave it in longer... Hope this helps!

Be interesting to see it turns your hands. clothes, whatever brown when you shoot it. Especially in the heat.
