Welcome to the CW9 world. I've had mine for 3 years. Run the first 200 rounds as they recommend and you'll be fine.
I just the Blackhawk size 1 IWB but carry it in the small of the back position. For me the left hand model works perfect for my right hand draw - it sounds weird but it positions the grip in the correct position in the SOB.
My Blackhawk has been my carry for the past 2 years and it is holding up very well.

Are there any holsters that people like in particular for the CW9 or others around its size?

Easy on/off. Tuckabe. Reasonably priced. Depending on what cant you want:

    Split Decision
    Hidden Ally

As mentioned, Kahr recommends a 200 rnd break in period. The few I have experience with have run fine from the beginning, however, FWIW.

It's a good "tight pants" gun due to its slimness.

Has anyone tried the Don Hume leather holsters with the CW9? I am liking it for the price right now. I currently have a minotaur for my XD and LOVE it but its a long wait and I need something to hold me over now.
