Finally got the grips in from Sarge (He does AMAZING work, +1 to Sarge!) and have been taking her to range trips as often as possible. Dan Wesson makes a thing of beauty and the fit and finish is just outstanding. Dead-accurate right out of the box and so far has 800 rounds through it with no issues.

Only minor mods - had a Caspian Trik trigger inststalled and tuned to 2.6lbs. Also the obvious grip's :) (Redwood burl if anyone is wondering).

My new pride and joy :D I'll add more pics later, but this will have to suffice (crappy cell pic).

If anyone is looking to get one and has questions or wants a pic or something, hit me up :D

I've read that the finish on some of the DW line leaves a lot to be desired and flakes off. I take it that is not the case on this higher end offering?

Nice. Love the Specialist. I would buy one for home defense if I could afford one.

    Love my DW CCO.

Yeah - I love this thing. Its tight, has run flawlessly, and is just beautiful... I'll get some more pics with a better camera. I'm about to upload my new 300 blackout SBR pics in the NFA section. Just finished taking some :D

I'll get some more DW pics soon, probably tomorrow. Very happy with it.

Looks very nice, classy, not over done. What made you buy Dan Wesson? Did you order it or just see it on a shelf? What other 1911s have you owned or shot?

Beautiful! It'll shoot as good as it looks! I love my three DWs and will never part with them.

For a "crappy cell pic" it looks pretty darn sweet to me. Clean lines and style, and the grips give it just enough pop to look good but not gaudy! Fine pistol!
