Whats your thoughts on the PPQ?

The M2 version addresses the big complaint I had about the PPQ, which was the funky Euro-type mag release along the bottom of the trigger guard. The downside to going to a more conventional (i.e. American) mag release is that a new type of magazine is required, and the plethora of relatively inexpensive P99/SW99 mags out there won't work. Trade-off is worth it, IMO.

The PPQ's ergonomics are great, and the trigger is among the best I've felt in a striker-fired pistol.

That said, I don't own one because it doesn't allow me to do anything better than does my existing inventory of Glocks, and Glock accessories and support are much less expensive and more available.

Were I starting from scratch and only going with one gun, the PPQ M2 would be a contender. I'd like to see Walther offer a PPS M2 down the road as a slim CCW companion piece.

    My :twocents:
