Nope. It was a domestic violence charge. Lots of privately owned firearms get confiscated in those circumstances. You can thank Lautenberg for that.Perhaps another criminal wearing blue.
One thing that struck me as odd, though, is that they confiscated his personal firearm. Don't we have a due process clause that we comply with before confiscating personal property?
