My mom absolutely hates the idea of owning guns, but she was the one who bought me my first gun when I was ten for Christmas... And claims to be Libertarian... Yeah, we dont talk politics very much. My grandmother, her mother, owns several "just because" haha

With the exception of 1 brother, my family is NOT gun friendly. They're not anti but just don't like being around guns in general. My other brother believes in a gun for home defense but doesn't believe in carrying outside the home. As for my kids (adults), It's a subject we just agree not to discuss around each other. They just don't want their 2 girls exposed to firearms. I think my son and his wife just assume that I am carrying and live with that.

In Penn Station in Brownsburg today a fellow customer saw me and said "Whoa... I guess you're ready for anything." I just nodded and moved on. Maybe I took it wrong, but he didn't sound like he wanted to strike up a conversation.

So take out the newspaper and show them all the people hurt OUTSIDE the home.

My family knows I carry and they don't care.I know my dad hates guns so I put it in the safe when he comes over.I respect how he feels about the subject and not worth the argument.
If I go out,I usually have it with me but have left it at home when I know I am going somewhere that guns are not allowed.I'd rather leave it at home instead of a locked car that can get broken into and the gun stolen. My family really just keeps to themselves about guns.

I'd die if I couldn't shoot with my grandkids.Of course, right now I'm just waiting for my own son to be old enough so I'm not into grandkids yet.
