OOps and one of the boys got a tackle in that game so maybe we won't take any help from Manchester folks. LOL

It's great the kids can enjoy the game and the family that comes along with a good football program

Definitely! Trine has a great program and I look for that team to do well. Y'all just gotta find a way to keep your running back at that school. That kid should be playing D1 somewhere, man he is fast!

    Ok, Ill stop thread-jacking now!

I recommend the boys find a farmer with some suitable non-tillable ground (this will involve aerials and plat maps, both good skills for them to hone anyway) and approach the farmer to WORK in trade for time in the woods. Really work.

Then, maybe next year, this will all be settled.

But uh, I have to ask:

Where, exactly, are biomed and engineering majors that are ALSO trying to play sports going to find the time to study if they are in the woods? This is not a question I really need an answer to, but it's one that the boys maybe need to think about. College is serious business, and by that I mean profit...if they graduate and find they don't have "the right stuff" for employment, but still have the debt, that is not a good place to be.

If I did it over, I'd study more and "hunt" a lot less.
