    Hello all,

Was told to go to this site via friend, though usrname is unknown to me at this time. I have obtained my permit about 3-4 months ago and have considered buying, but still unsure of what I want (Glock or S&W). Rest assured i have fired hand guns and rifles alike. My true reasons for joining the site to is gain different personal preferences on various models and manufactures, and to come to ruling on whats best for me.

That said, as I stand I would think that a S&W M&P .45 full size with thumb safety is a way to go, any doubts or disagreements?

Thanks for taking the time to read my welcome thread.

p.s.- thats my real last name btw

M&P is a fine choice. I have both a glock and M&P, the only thing I like better on the glock is the more positive trigger reset as there is a definitive click as you begin to release the trigger. My M&P is really mushy on the reset and it's just something you'll learn by dry-firing it at home.

    Welcome fellow FTW'er
