Did you pick it up in The Haute? If so might I ask where you might of picked it up at? Oh, and NICE 1911! :D

I did get in the terrible Haute... Go see Danny at Farve's Guns or I should say go see Danny's wife. :) If you've been there much you will know what I mean. I went in and inquired about one earlier this week and they gave me a price. Went back to order it and she had already gotten one in for me to see before I bought it. Got to love Farve's!!!

I picked up the holster off a buddy and the ammo at wally world.

The winchester in the white box does seem to throw out some decent groups , the best factory ammo I have found is ,Sellier&Bellot alot of gun shops carry it . might be fun to get some just to see how tight of group it will shoot

Oh well, there goes the neighborhood...

You'll want another (and maybe another). Use good magazines, take care of your gear and you'll be happy.

Just remember...with no disrespect to other calibers...its still a .45.

    Nice gun.

I just picked up a RIA 1911A1 in a good old fashioned parkarized finish.

Haven't got to fire it yet, but I have heard nothing but good about the RIA products.

^ the only thing keeping me from doing the same is that I dont have $400 to spend on a gun AND another caliber. I could never sell my g19... but if I didnt have that, id have a 1911 .45

I just picked up my very first 1911 this morning.:)
It is a RIA Tactical Duo Tone. I very happy with the fit, finish, and overall quality. I had looked at so many 1911's this week and am glad I made the decision to go with the RIA. Out the door with an extra mag, 100rds of ammo, and a Don Hume JIT Slide leather hoslter for 600.00. After cleaning a bucket load of grease out of it I'm off to the range....

Sweet Pistol! Beware, though... The 1911 addiction has begun! :rockwoot:
