Did you ever buy the perfect handgun?
The one that makes you NOT want to buy anything else because it is so perfect.
For me, this stainless steel Springfield Armory Loaded is it.
I traded with an INGO member (edwoodworth1. thanks!) for it.
I know I need pics. Sorry.
I have the camera but not the gun with me today.
I will get them up tomorrow.

I just hope this wave of thinking I don't need anything else passes soon! :D

Congrats on the new 1911 loaded. That's a fine handgun.

I lost track of how many times I've bought and sold the perfect handgun. Don't worry the feeling will wear off in a month or so.

Yeah, there has been several times when I bought something and thought, "OK. There. Now I am not going to buy anything for a really long time. I'm just going to shoot the **** out of this and enjoy the guns I already have." Then I usually find something else I have to have a couple of weeks later. I once lasted several months, but then made up for it later with a big spending spree.

I believe that used to be my Springfield at one time. The ONLY reason you have it now is the stainless instead of blued finish. It is a very nice pistol and nothing shoots better than a 1911.:rockwoot:

The jury is still out on the VZ Grips Aliens that come with it.
They are very aggressive imo, but after the first day of shooting, they started to grow on me.

Hornett, that is a nice looking Springfield. Congratulations! There is nothing like getting the perfect gun you've always wanted... until you see the next one. :D

That is the exact 1911 I am looking to pick up. Be careful with those grips though. If you plan on CCing it and keeping it close to your body, it will tare up you shirts. Mine even started to tare up the seat in my Explorer.

I can see that happening. It is a very rough texture.
It is more of a range / target / home defense gun so I don't think that will be a problem
