    Praise the Lord!

My younger bro, Vern, got released from the Heart Center here, today..... and is on his way home. He is much improved and I'll continue to pray for his good health and complete recovery.

Thank you to all who have lifted up prayers for this family.

Please keep my sister-in-law, Joanna (in my original post), and her entire family, in your thoughts and prayers, as they deal with their loss. It is so much appreciated.

Two brothers with heart attacks is a stressor for anybody. Have you had your ticker checked lately? We love you and would rather not have to be praying for your wife's loss as well.
Just sayin as a friend to a friend.;)

    Prayers up for your family.

    Thanks for your prayers, Rick.

Actually, I am already a heart patient. First heart attack was a mild, stress-related one in 1988. No issues afrterward. Second one was possibly TWO a week or so apart, in 2006. When I went to the ER, they called in a heart specialist, and after a stress test the next day.... they said I damaged one wall of my heart.

They scheduled me for a heart cath right after that hospital stay, but I came down w/ the flu real bad.... and it never got done. I lost my health insurance and never re-scheduled it.

Third heart attack was about 3-1/2 years ago, when I was working two jobs. Three days in the hospital, and back to work. I've since had to give up the full-time job, and now work my PT job and do my gun blueing service as a second income.

I take 2 heart meds once a day, and another twice a day.... and carry Nitrostat with me at all times. Changed my diet as well, cut WAAAAY back on caffeine, and learning to not let "the little things" worry me or induce stress where unnecessary. Haven't had any issues or even angina in over two years.... but have developed Fybromyalgia (nuero-muscular condition w/ some pretty bad pain, at times) in the last three years or so.

Still, every day I wake up, is a GOOD day.

I wanted to take a minute to say how very much I appreciate those of you here, who have included our family in your prayers. Prayer works, I know.

Also, to any members here who sent a small check to my sister-in-law and her family (I won't name names; you know who you are).... God bless you for that. You will never know how much this means during the first Christmas season without their husband/father there with them.

As usual, INGO is awesome. -Lee
