She has seen me shooting and took an interest, so she will be getting this for her birthday next month. A Keystone Cricket. $110 at Wal-Mart.

I wish I had a grandparent like you when I was that age.
Being a boy I woudn't have wanted a pink one but any gun would have been nice. :D

Me too. I want the grand kids to learn about guns and how to handle them. Take all the mystery out of them, and they will be safer.

There is a black one.:): when my grandson gets older he will get one.
That looks a lot like the Winchester 67 design. Is that 22 LR?
Yes it is. Bolt action, single shot. Has a key lock safety on it too.

    Nice!

I am teaching my youngest daughter with a Rossi Matched Pair. Kinda the family gun, has been used by all my kids and brothers kids.

Outstanding! I got a Marlin 15Y for Christmas when I was 6 years old. 30 years later I still have it and my son will get it when he is ready. May she enjoy it as much as I did!

Best to start em off young. Easier to teach them before they get into the Call of Duty gun "expert" age. It's great to see the older generation teaching the younger.

Kind sir, can you please adopt me as your grandson? *Hint* I want a CZ 75B. I am pretty strong and will do manual labor. :dunno:
