Ok, so I got this new receiver and it is actually pretty rare. It is a Thompson Machine billet "TM-15" AR-15 receiver. They didn't make very many at all and mine is serial number TM004. I am guessing TM001 went to the owner and TM002 went to his right hand man, so it is probably either the first or second lower ever sold to the public. It is currently in the white with a light sandblasted tye finish. It needs a little bit of hand sanding of some rough spots.

So, what should I do with it?

I think your poll is broken...

Leave it alone make it a conversation piece / paper weight.

Somebody from TM might want a nice piece to add to their collection someday and will make you a nice offer.

Armalite scope mount

Leupold glass

A2 buttstock ( maybe with a weight)

20 inch Wilson bull barrel with a Wylde chamber and 11 degree target crown

2 piece float tube

Now go break in your new sub moa rifle

Williams set trigger or Jewell trigger

I voted to built what you really want to build. I mean, If it's going to be your fun gun, It might as well be on an interesting receiver.

with out a doubt build the shorty 5.7. its such a sick round and gun anyway i can't imagine what a shorty would be like. i think that would be the sh@#
