I have done SBR's and SBS for myself but I had a hard time coming up with what to to as a licensed Class 3 manufacture.
Slowhand mentioned doing a 22 Integral suppressed barrel and I decided that was a good item to get my feet wet.

I took a green mountain .920 18" 10/22 barrel and cut it to 16.5 (1 Stamp) and hogged out around 11" of that with chambers made the outer 1" tube and end cap did some internal O ring seals on the back end and it works outstanding, super quiet.
I have only been able to shoot out to 25 yards so far but I am satisfied with the accuracy using a red dot
There is 4.5" of rifled barrel.

I turned down the portion around the barrel itself in case I need to add ports to keep standard ammo subsonic

25 yards, Winchester 555 white box

Thank you. I am super pleased how it came out for a first effort. Honestly not sure what I would change on the next one.

    Well, how about a price?

But seriously, how does it feel balance wise? I have always liked that sorta front heavy feel with a 0.92" barrel.

    Very cool Allen, very cool.

Wish I had the tools to do such a thing but until that happens, like when pigs fly over a frozen Hell, I will live vicariously through you. :)

You joke about a price but yes I hope to make things to sell. This being one, I want to really get it out and shoot it some first though.

Balance wise I like it. The barrel core comes in at 1 lb 3.5 oz the shroud is aluminum and weighs next to nothing I didn't think to weigh it all together but it feels stable when shooting it. being 16.5" it doesn't feel muzzle heavy.

He kept it at >16 to avoid needing 2 stamps (form 1 suppressor AND SBR)

I kept it at 16.5 so, one stamp for the purchaser, As a licensed manufacture I didn't have to do a form 1 or stamp at all :rockwoot:

On the other hand I have paid my fair share of dues though

So can you still put a silencer on the end of the barrel to make it even quieter?

Awesome job Allen. Your skills are amazing.
