Talked to my brother last night, he is coming out in a couple of weeks, and bringing the VERY FIRST pistol I purchased with him, for me to have. (I am paying him back for it). It's a Ruger Mark II that I bought back when I was 19 years old (had to think back to remember exactly WHEN I bought it). I sold it to him in college to help pay tuition costs.
This means I won't be going out and buying a new Ruger MKIII hunter anytime soon, will be shooting this one for a while. And I fully expect to pass it down to one of my kids someday.
Now if I can just talk my other brother out of my old Winchester bolt action .22 that he has had of mine....I will be all set. And he didn't pay me for it, he just took it while I was away from home.
