Small update. Took the AK to the range for the first time yesterday. I know I can't believe it took me this long. 
My first few shots were not too bad with it I don't think. I was aiming low to give me multiple areas on the target where I could do groups.

I love the rifle, shot better than I thought even. Now to look for some cheap ammo for it.
