    My spayed mixed beagle who is appx. 2 years old has done that before.
    Kinda took me by surprised when she did it the first time. She has not humped for awhile now, maybe she is saving it up? lol

    I have an intact male who has not done this at all. Never once had any issues with humping. He's about 2.5 years old now.

    However he does seem to enjoy licking his best friend's privates (or rather, what's left of them, he's a neutered GSD) for far longer than what would normally be "appropriate" for a dog/dog greeting.

    I have also heard this is a dominance thing. I don't have a female dog, but if I did I would probably be troubled with it as well.
