So sad to hear the news. Very hard to lose a close friend. We had to let our 14 yr old friend a month ago and yesterday our daughter had to suffer the same experience with their friend due to cancer.

My condolences. I've had several dogs in my life and it's always hard when they pass on. Sounds like your friend had a good life, didn't suffer at the end and had his family with him.

People often commented on how he looked like a Disney character or even a person wearing a dog costume. He was as loveable as it gets. This is the very last pic I ever took of him, Monday afternoon he was outside playing with the boy and then laid down and wanted to be pet for a while.


I didn't take any pics of him after he got sick, it didn't seem right, and I do not wish to remember him like that.
