As we all know, we train to keep our finger off the trigger unless ready to fire. I have noticed that I now also do this when I grab my cordless drill!!! I don't recall my finger in that position before I began carrying ! Anyone else recall anything that is a rollover from carrying? My S.A. has increased too but that really doesn't fall under muscle.memory.

I do that with power tools, too. Paint guns as well.

I'll notice it and chuckle but I'll still leave it like that.

I'm with you. I'm so trained that about the only thing I'll even touch with my trigger finger is my nose, and only when it REALLY needs to be picked! (I'll bet you just stuck your right finger in your right nostril to try it out, didn't you?)

You don't have trigger discipline/muscle memory until you employ it with a sword while swinging a mace and wearing a Viking helmet.

Haven't noticed it with the trigger finger. But after shooting semiauto for awhile I picked up my revolver and noticed I was swiping the safety off. I had to laugh at that one.

That's a new one! Never really experienced that, but few of my pistols (1 or 2?) even have safeties...
