    The issue is the area where the paddle half meets the holster half. It hits the area with the rivets just enough to depress the release and let your mag free.

    I'm looking at it right now and I see what you mean.

    I've never felt the need for the extended mag release but was curious about it. But after hearing about the inadvertent disengagement problem I sort of wrote off the modification.

    This new one seems interesting however.:dunno:

    In my opinion, using the extended release is worth needing to find a new holster.

    However, I don't believe the Vickers extends as much as the Glock extended release, so it may not have any issues with the Fobus holster.
