Thinking about changing the sights on my MP Shield. Just curious what others have had success with. I have heard many positives about the XS Big Dots. Also, who in northern Indiana can do this work for me?

My friend rbMPSH12 had AllenM swap sights in his for some night sights and loves them. (Ameriglo, I think)
I think the Big dots are an acquired taste, and most users (after practice) love them. I personally don't know if I'd like them all that much.

I changed mine out myself. First time for me. It went pretty smooth, actually.

I installed the Ameriglo pro i-dot sights. I love them. Easy and fast sight acquisition.

I've tried many sights (incluting Big Dots), and I now have I-Dot Pros on my carry pistols and am quite happy with them.

I rock big dots on most of my pistols these days. Love them and they are super easy to install on the m&p series of pistols. Another plus is they are much easier for new shooters to get good sight alignment with. I highly recommend them for a defensive handgun, not so much for a plinker or a bullseye shooter.

Looks like throttletony beat me to it. I did indeed have AllenM swap my sights for me. He's not in northern IN though (Avon). I think he charged $30. I have Ameriglo I-Dot Pros with the yellow front sight and u-notch rear sight (product number SW-345). They're great sights! Kind of a nice middle-ground between Big Dots and a standard notch and post sight. You get the single centered rear tritium dot and a u-notch that easily aligns with the front sight for fast target acquisition. I recommend them.
