When I was a little tike, back in the mid 60's a local bootlegger ran for sheriff.

He only got something like 10 votes in the primary.

After the primary he went in to the current sheriff's office, and ask for a gun permit, the sheriff ask him why he thought he needed a gun permit, he said,
"Didn't you see the election results, if I only have 10 friends in the whole county, I GOTTA CARRY A GUN'!

I work part time at a paintball shop & we got a character that comes in with the most ridiculous crap ( he needs meds ..seriously) Well this guy carried a glock airsoft pistol around like its the real thing ,we tell him not to but to no avail. He comes in one day & tells us that he destroyed his airsoft pistol after he accidentally inserted a real glock magazine(w/ammo) into the airsoft pistol and chambered & fired .........airsoft bb's are 6mm & the airsoft pistols have no firing pin,no way folks .same guy claims that hes in the national guard secret unit & drove a m1 abrams tank through downtown ft wayne.

I was at an indy 1500 a while back, and some guy at a table was trying to get me to buy a way overpriced($180) M91/30 round reciever mosin in fair condition. He was claiming that he shot a 1ft group with it once at 1000yds!!! I just walked away laughing.
