    A holler in Kentucky
When I was in junior high, I was standing on top of the Lance machine (Lance stuff was awesome, don't know if it's still around or not) attempting to pry the clock off the wall. I don't know why I was doing that, but I was. Anyway, the principal happened to pop around the corner as I was about to remove the clock. He did the CLASSIC double take, and stopped in his tracks. He stood there in disbelief for a few seconds, then said "I have to run down the hall for a minute, when I come back through here, that clock had better be hanging there, and you better be off that candy machine, or I will track you down and beat you"!

    I left the clock there.:D

I was in 5th or 6th grade at the time and every year around Christmas time our school would but on a Christmas program with the whole school for all the parents and what not. Well my buddy decided to fill his pockets up with rubber-bands before the program. So during the whole program we were both shooting these rubber-bands everywhere. We ended up getting ratted out and got swats from the principal for punishment.

    Stuff thats legal???

Probably the best one was in first grade we were doing a class play. My best friend I happened to be in the same class. He was this tree (I dont remember why he was a tree) standing on a chair, and he locked his legs. Next thing ya know hes face planting on the floor. I tell you what there were a few parents doing the "Oh My God" jumping over chairs... To this day I remind him of it, and we both laugh.

Another one of my favorites was.. In 1oth grade Geometry, we had a class that had windows overlooking the highway. Me and another buddy were sitting there every day next to the windows, and we noticed that at 1445, a short bus drove by (empty for what its worth). Well, we started yelling "Short Bus".. Well after a while it got to where the teacher began kicking us out of class for this. One day, deciding shes going to be a step ahead of the game, she removes us from class before we get our moment of glory. Well, this is like April, I know when that stupid bus drives by. At 1445, I open the door, and yell "SHORT BUS".... Yeah, guess who got a one way ticket to the dean's office. That was a tough one to explain... She didnt have a sense of humor.

I cut some graphic porno pics out of one of my dad's magazines and took them to kindergarten. I got caught by the teacher and she handed them over to my mom who was also a teacher. Needless to say, mom was a little embarrased.

    Gradeschool: 3-way tie between-

    a) Getting a noon detention and threatened with a paddle for spitting from the 3rd floor landing, down the stairwell to the basement level and seeing if I could get it all the way through the hand rails.

    b) Watching my 5th grade teacher launch an eraser at a kid that wasn't paying attention in math class. That was about 1989 or so.

    c) Watching the Challenger explosion. :(:patriot:

    Jr. High:

    Another Tie: This time between-

    a) Girl in one of our classes had her first "period" in the middle of a class, probably in 6th grade or so. We were all mortified. Nobody would sit in the "Rag Chair" for the rest of the year, and the poor girl never out grew some of the nicknames she had as a result. Today we'd probably be called "Bullies."

    b) Discovering those firm pointy things girls had on their chests. :rockwoot:

Would have to be anatomy class. Using a woodsaw to cut through a pelvis and remove a leg. The cadaver was a bit on its side and when the leg came off, so did our hold on it and it rolled back onto the table. This caused a mini tidal wave splash of formalin with some various parts floating in it that landed on my buddy. We were a bit grossed out, until 2 weeks later when he had some funky fungal rash on that arm. Then we were REALLY grossed out.

Awww nuts, just saw it was a gradeschool post. Still a good story so I'll leave it.

Gradeschool: every time YAKburgers came up on the menu in New Jersey.

4th Grade. Mr Freeze beaning the Ledger kid with motormouth in the back row with a piece of chalk, right between the eyes. And not for the first time.

He moved up to chalkboard erasers as the year went on. Ledger never did shut up.

Scotty Mitchell pulling a Championship Wrestling move on some kid I don't remember. Grabbed the kids shoulders and fell backwards. Got his feet under the kids hips and flipped him clear over on his back on the sidewalk. That was COOL!:rockwoot:

1st Grade... was running through the classroom, tripped or slipped, and landed my chin on a desk. Bled everywhere, had to get 5 or 6 stitches.

    3. When I was in kindergarten I had a crush on a 5th grader. I came up with a plan to give her one of my mom's rings (figured she had enough of them) So I took it and gave it to the girl, would have worked but her brother in 4th grade ratted me out. Was not a good day after that...

    2. Hit a shot from 3 quarter court shot to win a basketball game.

    1. In little league we played the other team from our school and after being down by 12 runs we came back and won it on my 3 run walkoff home run. Knew it was gone as soon as it hit the bat.

Jr High........8th grade, Bill T pushed me when I went to dump my lunch stuff, I stumbled toward the trash can and grabbed the nearest thing to decelerate...........

Sara S's most fabulous sweater puppet (right side, D cup) I think my hand went totally numb, she gasped, and I froze.............then I let go :)

Grade school (3rd)................little jerk (bigger than me though) kept calling me names, I was the "new kid". Got him cornered in the classroom when we were first ones in and grabbed Mrs Black's big oak chair (it was big 'cause she was huge).

I had just swung it up and it was about over my head, I was gonna crush that idiot...........and from behind I heard Mrs Black yell my full name (even the middle one)...........I tightened up and the chair slammed short of my target.

Class came in, and I was escorted out. Door open....... man that fat lady could swing a paddle.

Had me stand by the stairs to lean back and take the hits' or go flying.

I took em, never even watered my eyes. My face was on fire though.

Nobody said a word, during my beating or after.

I tried to find that little SOB for a few recesses after that. If I'd have found him he'd have been toast.

2nd grade field trip to the Evansville Zoo (yes, the one of Titanium Frost fame). After lunch, we country boys and girls decided it just wasn't right to have all these animals locked up- so we let some free (mainly petting zoo ones). I distinctly remember letting the peacocks out. It was pandemonium. It was awesome.

We were promptly kicked out. A zoo official later sent a warning to our school principle that banned all classes from our school from ever going back.

When I was in early grade school, my older brother had slammed my middle finger in the car door, and almost severed a portion of it. Well, the bandages were off, and I decided to examine the tip of my middle finger while Sister Leontia was leading morning prayers.
At that time I had no idea what the raised middle finger meant, but I had it prominently displayed in front of me for examining during prayers!!!
The rest of the day didn't go so well, but my buddies who were "in the know" had a good laugh. And in those days, when your day didn't go well at school, it surely wasn't going to go well at home either......and it didn't. :):

Tore up my ankle on recess in 1st grade. Not enough to stay home, but not bad enough to pay for little-kid-sized crutches. School was a country school, so we didn't have a wheelchair (or nurse, for that matter) so somebody brought in a little red wagon and the class took turns pulling me around..
