Yea I caught wind of these just this morning myself.

I have to have a forward assist on my AR's so they are a no-go for me, but I'm very happy to see Mossberg joining in the AR frenzy, it'll help keep prices down & hopefully get more folks into AR's.

I've always been a Mossberg fan to, they really have their niche in the market with affordable offerings that are quality products. That's pretty darn cool they got into the AR market.

I think its a good move. I hope that it brings decent quality rifles into play for guys like me that don't have the funds in the budget for an AR.

How did I miss that:dunno:!? I agree, a foward assist is a must for me. I know, a properly maintained rifle etcetera...

The MSRP I saw was quite a bit higher than the new M&P Sport, that soured me a little.

Will be interesting to hear reviews once it's in shooters' hands.

I just saw that myself. the tactical configuration has an MSRP of $885 and $921 with optics, hardly the cheap price point that some are expecting from mossberg. here the link
