Ok you purchased a car made by "Christmas Motor works". You installed a very efficient fuel injection system.
Your car runs like fine turned watch.
You live in a mountain area. You installed a heavy duty breaking system. Everything works great for 5 years.
"CMW" leaves a notice in your car that fuel system is not compatible anymore. For $100. a year you can use theirs.
Then you find out that your brake system was disabled. Again you receive a notice that you had them to long and are not compatible with OLD model car you have.
The very same system are installed in a brand new car. they are working perfect in it.
Do you just say well OK I will now pay your to do what I use to do free of service fees.

Can anyone explain this up date change?
In the task bar at the bottom of my screen. There is an icon showing battery / power status.
Before this resent update. The battery rectangle was white. if the battery was charging and show the power plug. White squares would build up the rectangle.
When completely charge the rectangle would be 100% white.
Now the rectangle is blank and has a red "X" at the lower left corner of the rectangle. it still shows the power plug while plugged.
When running on battery the "X" is flashing.
What right do they have to tell you what you can continue using.
It's their software. They own the rights to it. If they don't want to continue supporting some older software, thats on them. Don't like it? Build your own Operating System and market it to the whole world, then try to continue to support every feature in it while keeping billions of people happy. Let me know how it works out for you.
I'm no fan of Microsoft, but I really think that your expectations are way out of line and unrealistic.
