To the op look into the CZ P09 or P07 they are fantastic fullsize midsized poly guns for the money. The P07 is G19 sized but with better ergonomics and trigger.

I have the older P-07 duty and I love it. I shoot it better than any other gun I've owned or borrowed, and the price can't be beat

Ok, kawtech87, I stand corrected, only 65% of America's law enforcement carry Glock. Several militaries and law enforcement carry as well, but your right it's less than 80%.

I do not like Glock's for this reason, but if you do then go with it. Get a 19 and don't look back.

If you like the feel of the Glock, get it. I don't like the feel, but have shot several. They are nice guns, just not for me. I did check out the FN a couple nights ago. I could see one of them in my future.

I did check out the Glock 42. I thought it was pretty cool!

    Taurus PT111 Gen2 9mm 1-111031G2-12

Taurus makes a good weapon at a good price. I sold my Glock 26 and bought two Tauri with the cash. Both have been excellent pieces. Had to send one back for service, but Taurus covered all costs. Again, 100% reliable since with 250-500 rounds through them. They are not Rugers or Sigs, but they solid, reliable, and accurate. Great for range or EDC in my experience.

I like to say Glock 19 all the way! If they fit your hand well you cant beat 'em, been my EDC for years now. Cheaper option maybe a Ruger SR9c, M&P 9 would be good too. It's in between the G19 and G17 size wise but with a 17 round capacity. I carry a G17 mag backup for my 19 though so same difference.

Not to mention AWESOME texturing/stippling. Like right between RTF2 and Gen 4.

You should definitely add the Sig P320 to the list of options. Shot one yesterday and I liked it vastly better than any Glock I have ever tried.

There's a reason Glock sells more 19s than any other model.. :) Parabellum in Avon has one that they rent if you are ever up that way. If I know you are coming and I'm working that day I'll be happy to let you shoot mine.
