They are missing the boat completely.

If the good, law-abiding citizens and the police of Michigan City want to have an impact on crime, why not a have a cash for criminals program? Turn in your neighborhood burglar, dope dealer, or car thief for cash. :dunno:

Wish they would do this gift card exchange locally. I could trade in a few broken BB guns and use my gift card to buy ammo. Or better yet maybe another gun.

Disarming the poor. Pure and simple and these people are not smart enough to realize it.

Obama and the MCPD will take care of them and protect them. All they need is -oh don't get me started!:xmad:

This thread needs to be repped!!! it is Great!:yesway:
    This is BS.

I can not remember the details but South Bend has done this a couple of times or at least once. The owner of Len’s Ammo Shop set up shop on the sidewalk to buy the guns that people were taking in? You guys will have to help me out with the details on this one.

Yeah there have been some in SB. A few of us protested the one earlier this year. I have talked to a few cops and other people about why these gun "buybacks" are a fraud, a political stunt, and a waste.
I don't know about Len being around, but I don't trust him. I think he's as bad for the image of gun owners and dealers as Don from Don's guns.
