    The very first holster I ever bought for myself, the Jackasss rig is one of the best shoulder rigs out there that can be bought off the shelf. I dont typically carry my 1911 with it any more, I have found other ways that tend to work better for me since then, but if you are looking for a good shoulder rig, this is it.

    A few words of advice if you go that way, get the tie down kit for it too, it will make it ride much better, and not shift around as the day goes by. Also, get the tension screws where you want them, and add a drop of blue loc-tight on them to keep them in place. Nothing is more awkward than having to chicken wing your pistol because the holster came apart when you least expect it, and screws come loose, no matter what brand you go with.
