God dammit, I wish we would just ****ing unleash on these sons of *****es. We'll spend billions halfway around the planet but won't do a ****ing thing about our primary enemy on the other side of the border.

I would pay cash money to see an A-10 blow that ****ing red truck to smither-****ing-eens.

    OK, I feel better. :D

I know alot of folks from the Southwest, some from Mexico, some born in the US. Most tell stories of the old SW when it was a great place to live and raise children. Nowadays I hear stories from the other side of the border of kidnapping and beheadings. It's now spilling over to our side. Our next military action should be in conjuntion with the Mexicans to take out these cartels. They're bad for us and bad for them. My wife's side of the the family ,originally, is from Matamores, and her cousin joined the BP. It won't just go away until our military takes action, just sayin'. Sorry you can have your thread back....

HK91 and G3 look a lot alike at 5AM when people are carrying them across your front, 30 yards distant.

BP swarmed them and captured all but the tail guy. We found him later in the day and we gave him cheerios and a t-shirt while we waited for BP. He was all over the news for a couple of days, if you recall.

BTW, we were there as part of the Minuteman Project.
Aren't there other groups too? What are your limitations on action? Can you just call the BP and sit tight?

I have spent time in 2004 on the Arizona border in the Nogales sector. We took fire all day long and well into the night. Border Patrol vehicles are routinely peppered by gunfire from the south.

There is nothing new with gunfire from the south. The ranchers on the border loved that we were there. They fed us and let us stay on their property as long as we were willing to foot patrol their property.

I have heard of folks returning fire with their M1 Garand with 30.06 LC ammo and scoped bolt action rifle in 308 caliber with 168 SMK bullets, but nobody that I know admits to it. I don't know anything about it. I have heard rumors about it though.

My Suburban has two bullet holes in it.

The group of 50 mules (men, women, and children) with backpacks full of marijuana were escorted by Mexican army soldiers armed with HK91 rifles. They were apprehended 5 miles south of Fort Huachuca as they came down out of the Huachuca mountains. My buddy Dave and I were on a listening post and we alerted our highers who got the BP coming. This is not a hearsay event. I was there.
I think we need to return fire with an ICBM and just get it over with. JMHO.

I was on the Border Rescue from August to September 2007 in Laredo, TX. It wasn't uncommon to hear random gunfire all night. The uniforms were hard to locate, but when I got them I went and volunteered for 6 weeks. Laredo was crawling with problems. That was the same area that an american and his wife got beheaded on a lake when they were out playing around on their jet skis. We were just there to "monitor" private property. Lots of patrols to close down trafficking routes. It's like the last place a Civie Non Merc can go and get some actual combat experience without the commitment.

Or a fun-loving former Marine, that needs bullets whizzing by his head just to feel normal.
