I am looking for a dueling tree.... would prefer one that I can throw just about any type of ball ammo at it. I have never purchased or used a metal target but I am tired of changing out my paper !! And not knowing immediately if I hit it or not. Anyone have any suggestions??? I have .22lr 9mm and .38

    .
Bobcat Steel has the best ones around for centerfire. As long as it's not steel core it's good to shoot at them. They are advertisers here and have their own forum below.
The .22lr won't have enough velocity to turn the paddles. A simple .22 rifle jack works great for them.

I love a dualing tree. We built one and my family and I love it. It only cost about $75.00 and was able to build it in about a day.

I'm looking at some steel from Savage sytems, They are the only company that really advertises as Range quality. They claim to be in a sweet spot harder than ar500

The bobcat product we bought for the club didn't hold up at all, not buying again

What didn't hold up well? I've heard nothing but good things about BobCat and would like to hear your story.

OP, we'd be more than happy to assist in any manner we can. Our six paddle dueling trees are currently in stock.

This is the first time I have ever heard of anything we have sold not holding up. Please share your issue so we can make it right!

While praise is always nice, criticism and issues to resolve are usually more beneficial for us as a company in the long run.

reviews on this one seem pretty good... being my first metal target id rather not spend an arm n a leg on a dueling tree from bobcat right off the bat. maybe after I shoot this one up a bit I will be back in the market.
