Mayday: AR15 broke

Don't sweat it, just buy a new set of rings and replace the bad one. AR's CAN (not always DO) run on just one ring.

Well now im in trouble, planned on using my ar tomorrow for a competition shoot but my new rings wont be in till friday, anyone know of any place around the columbus area that has spares for sale? I tried acme but they don't. Even though I know it'd probably run fine for just 30 rds, id rather not take the chance of anything else going wrong.

Well took it to a buddy of mine who does gunsmithing and under better inspection it was found that not only is there a bur inside the carrier but it is slightly out of round and spec, called dpms, im sending it back to them and they are going to make it right.

Good to know, great info. And you should have an AK and an AR 15, why not?
