    I didn't have to do any inletting at all. I purchased a factory wood stock from Numrich. They do exist. I believe it was $52 shipped. It's rock solid and what I used to shoot my first Rifleman.

    Marlin all the way! I've had mine over 20 years; hands down, the most accurate out of the box firearm I own or have ever owned.
