Marlin 795 sub $100 rifle shoots pretty well

My buddy has a tricked out Remington 597 with a laminated stock, carbon fiber barrel, upgraded trigger, etc. I have a bone stock marlin with a walmart centerpoint scope and continually out shoot him. No different if its a decked out 10/22. I mean they look sweet but they arent worth the $$ imo.

Might not be the rifle

I got a buddy who just panic bought a RRA AR-10 for $1600... a Vortex Viper for $500... a Harris Bipod for $100 and some nice match ammo and LITERALLY can't shoot 4moa at 20yds
