I picked up a Marlin Model 39M a few weeks ago. This was made in 1978. Could anyone tell me what the difference is between the 39A and 39M? I have both and they seem the same to me. I would like to know. Thanks:dunno:

The action is the same but the stocks and bbls should be different. I suppose someone could have swapped the stock but most ppl like the Mountie better. Got Pics?
