I'm sure that rabble rouser had it coming. He should've just wrote an article marveling about how purrfect the creases were in Obama's pants. He'd of been front row gaggle.

Actually it's not. The house he lives in is OURS. The job he has, is in service to US. Everything he has as a result of the office he holds belongs to the PEOPLE. It is a completely fair criticism.
.
A primmer for the Trump administration.
Some would say.
As your quote indicates, it goes back MUCH further than that. All of this sounds very familiar.
"A house divided against itself cannot stand".
Divide and conquer.
It is a tactic out of the Communist play book.
And refined to an art form by Alinsky. Expected from the radical left, but from the supposedly independent news media? All of this sounds very familiar.

Did not Trump divide and conquer - just with different divisions? And refined to an art form by Alinsky. Expected from the radical left, but from the supposedly independent news media?

Yeah, it IS. It's the White House, not the White "no extended family" House. And throughout our history, there have been several people, not even related to the president that have lived there.....and yet, where were those complaints? The White House has 132 rooms, and 35 bedrooms. It is the president's prerogative to use the White House as his own personal residence, and invite, kick out, throw a party, or let live in it, whomever he wishes...or are you of the opinion that such isn't understood?
Which is it?
I responded in the thread where you originally trolled.
No trolling. Honest question, is it his house where he can invite or dis invite who we wishes, or is it the people's house where we have say?
Tim (generally sees it as your previous position)
The White House is both a private residence, AND a federal facility. The personal matters of the president, which are outside the function of govt, allow him such privacy and autonomy as any family in any residence. In matters where he using the WH as a platform for his administration and to push policy, he answers to US for its use. The public is fully entitled to ask questions concerning the use of the WH in governmental matters, but if it wants a detailed list a Baron's 11th birthday party attendees, that's beyond the pale.
Kut (doesn't think it's a hard concept to understand)
