I'm in the market for a single mag carrier for glock 9 mags. Wondering what everyone is using? I am really digging the comp tac single carrier design; but am wondering what everyone uses/suggests.

    I'm surprised Esrice hasn't done a roundup yet :D

I prefer using the horizontal ones because they're more comfortable to wear daily for me, but it depends on your use.

Raven Concealment mag carriers. I tried the Comptac's but sent them back. They didn't hold the magazine close enough to the body, they took up too much belt space, and looked and felt like they could break easily.

One of these, depending on what I am doing.

I'm right handed, and read that comptac has default "bullets to the rear" setup. Do I need to order a left hand mag carrier then?

No, Comp-Tac's default is bullets forward. If you want them the other way, order the opposite side/hand mag carrier.

I carry two spare mags and a set of handcuffs in a Tuff products "Stabilizer" ankle rig. One less thing on my waist, easy to conceal, and in a kneeling position its plenty fast to get to.

My primary reload is in a Comp-Tac mag carrier with a Blade-Tech TekLok belt attachment. It's a good combination because the Comp-Tac pouch rides a little lower, so it doesn't tend to flop outward as much with a heavy magazine and the current version of the TekLok is a winner no matter what you use it to attach.
