Class 3 Sales, in New Carlisle Manufactures AR-15 lowers, they may also sell whole rifles of thier own, I'm not sure off top.
They also do custom laser engraving, so you could have it customized aswell.
They are a site supporter here on INGO too.
No such thing as a 80% forging, maybe the thought is 80% receiver. A forging is material form pressed into a specific shape to reduce manufacturing cost & time. There are more than a couple but less than a few forgers that do AR receiver forgings for numerous manufacturers that machine the forgings into complete receivers. Even some of those machining operations make & mark the receivers for others that build them into rifles or distribute the receivers commercially. Some AR manufacturers also machine receivers from solid billet. Alot of M16/AR15 parts are made in Indiana. Springs, pins, detents, charging handles, barrel nuts, sight components, rails systems, muzzle compensators, gas tubes and even the upper receiver are made in the South Bend area.
i'll do whatever searching i can, but i know there's someplace here in Elkhart that makes long guns, i see them at ZX Guns in Goshen. mostly lever actions, some of them with some fancy engraving, very nice looking guns! i saw several 30-30's i believe, if i can find a website for them i'll post a link!
