I was just down at friendship and ended up buying a H&R m48 on the barrel it says 12ga choke so i am assuming that means full choke so can i shoot slugs out of it? I know it sounds like a noob question but i have never had a use for a shotgun so i dont know much about chokes.

Foster slugs are relatively soft and the ribs compress even more as they go through a choke. Best accuracy is usually with a cylinder bore, but you never know until you put it on paper. Even with a full choke you should be ok as long as everything else is in good working order.
