Since the M2 is the select fire version of the M1 carbine; if you got this for $840 as per the GunBroker ad, you got something of a deal. That being said, if the M1 carbine is not "import marked", it was still a heck of a good buy. Congratulations!
These are great weapons! Extremely accurate, too.
That is one frigin SWEEEET m1 carbine. The ones like yours with all early parts are the best IMHO. If only it could talk the stories it could tell.
